Databeacon Open Client Professional
Databeacon Open Client Professional extends the capabilities of Databeacon Open Client Standard to include the PageEnhancer Application Programmer Interface (API) and documentation that will allow organizations to customize and/or integrate Web Reporting and Data Analysis into existing and planned application solutions.

Databeacon Open Client Professional contains all the components from Databeacon Open Client Standard, plus the following components:

• Profile Import/Export utilities that convert dynamically built cube profiles into executable form.
• Scripting documentation to explain the structure of CORE profiles, enabling developers to create profiles dynamically.
• Command line cube building documentation to allow developers to control their scheduled and/or adhac builds through program control
• PageEnhancer API and documentation
  

Databeacon PageEnhancer API (Application Program Interface) is the major component in the Databeacon Open Client Professional product, and enables solution providers to quickly, tightly integrate Web Reporting and Data Analysis inside existing portal applications, unleashing new value from Databeacon self-serve explorable reports while promoting adoption inside and outside the organization.

Databeacon Open Client Professional offers the PageEnhancer API for customized portal integration

Developers use PageEnhancer API to ensure maximum adoption and usage of data-enabled portals, whether they’re deployed in intranets, organizational extranets or the public Internet. Using JavaScript, Java or VBScript, a Databeacon report can be modified and expanded through a programmable interface that allows external software scripts to control how the Databeacon Insight viewer (the applet that delivers Web Reporting and Data Analysis capability to the operational manager’s PC) is presented, and can also control computational activities inside the Databeacon Insight viewer.
