CORE
Client OLAP Reporting Environment
Databeacon CORE technology is included in all Databeacon
products, and contains the following components.
Databeacon
Publisher
Databeacon Publisher defines and designs the structure
of data to be analyzed in self-serve explorable reports.
Category, measure and date information structures are
created to match the operational managers view
of the information. The completed design is stored as
a profile that is used in creating Databeacon CORE cubes.
Databeacon
Builder
Databeacon Builder is a server-based application that
accesses data and applies a profile definition to build
a CORE cube. Databeacon Builder has been designed for
superior build performance, processing from 10,000 to
25,000 rows of input data per second. This speed allows
application developers to interactively design, build
and deploy cubes in real-time.

Databeacon Smart Client CORE Engine powers Web Reporter,
Player and Insight viewers
Databeacon
CORE Engine
The Databeacon CORE Engine lies at the heart of each
of the Databeacon Smart Client viewers described above.
The Databeacon CORE Engine processes the CORE cubes
on the client, allowing operational managers to quickly
access the information they need without requiring ongoing
use of server resources.
Databeacon
CORE middleware
The Databeacon CORE middleware includes dbDetails, dbStore
and Cube-to-Cube. dbDetails provides access to the source
data during an analysis session. dbStore retrieves and
stores public and user reports on the server. Cube-to-Cube
seamlessly loads a new CORE cube from the server, opening
new analyses opportunities for the operational manager,
all from a simple mouse click.
Databeacon
CORE middleware runs on all major operating systems
Windows, Linux, and UNIX, and supports both J2EE
and .NET server deployments.
